I was part of the report and documentation team and I also contributed to the hospitality team, though my name wasn’t credited in the magazine for latter. I’m thrilled to share this magazine covering the 117th Annual Global Conference hosted by the Bombay Diocese in October 2025.
This may only be available briefly, as maintaining it requires funding I can’t sustain it for long-term. Everything is to the glory and adoration of our Lord and God, Jesus Christ. Let’s read and enjoy it while we can.
I was in the writers’ group (we were split into writers and designers inside the report/documentation team), the roadmap image was already there, but I fixed the road image and made it visually pleasing for the magazine (the rest was handled by others); I also shaped the “disclaimer”—mostly my wording, with minor additions. The icon of Parumala Thirumeni was indirectly updated because of my suggestion (I shared a beautiful icon of St. Gregorios of Parumala in our WhatsApp group). I authored the article on Choir Session 2 (much of which was also incorporated into Choir Session 1. Basically, I can say wrote both articles), “Mumbai Darshan,” and the faith-empowered interview with two sisters (brides of the church)—I conducted it, edited their photo into a graceful comic-style picture, and provided key inputs (the design team polished it beautifully into a masterpiece). I worked on both crosswords. The — “Testimonials” in the magazine was my idea and worked on it was a writer, I curated the data and submitted it. (Though the design team turned that page into something unsymmetrical and added unnecessary color scheme with no uniformity. One has to turn his head or squint their eyes to read. It’s not that bad but it’s not that good either, could have been better. I tried to correct it but failed, they discarded my correction. Sometimes all you can do is pray to Jesus and let go. Hope for the best). I also submitted 2-3 more pieces under my pen name, J George Thomas (ART).
I shared my phone photos (edited and pixel-fixed); the last page features mostly the pictures taken by me (10 pics in total), though many others didn’t make the final cut.
Enjoy reading—I hope it’s worthwhile. I thank Jesus Christ, my lord and my God for this opportunity and pray to our Triune God that my work please our God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. and submit this as a humble gift to our God.
Please keep me in your prayers for well-being in Christ. God bless you all!
