Home (The Poem)

The home of mine once full of wonder,
Now silence echoes like distant thunder.
Lost laughter drifts in shadows deep,
Lit eyes once bright, now cease to weep.

‎Soul turned stranger – none to see.
‎Lying on is worse than letting me be.
Cold and distant, the heart once warm,
The devil’s workshop brews like storm.

Christ, the King, knocks at the door,
evil hushed, you’re worthy no more.
Opened wide for the One who died for me,
The Spirit of joy soared and lifted me free.

The temple stained with sinful trace,
Yet sanctified now by His grace.
No longer void, renewed, reborn,
In His love, healed and gently adorned.
