O Anne! O Anne! You look so weary and in loathe you weep.
The poisonous pain which you want to purge, is it too much, too deep?
You lie to hide your hideous truth and say it’s a silly act.
Confused in this chaos and conundrum, you have no tact.
Here in left where nothing is right, there in right where nothing is left.
In these illusions, you lost your peaceful sleep and the promises kept.
Secluded you stay to see who your real fellow, friend or foe be.
You played their melody on your lyre to appease those liar’s plea.
Taunting your wailing, they sung she got what she deserves in best.
O Anne! O Anne! This too shall pass, just trust the heavens to be blest.
